A NEW MAN IN MADISON'S LIFE!

Here is the latest in our out door fun. The garden is growing leaps and bounds with things I have never planted before; carrots, radishs, beets, onions, beans, peas, melons, and corn, in addition to the regular stuff, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettace. We should have a very good crop if all goes well. And then there are my chickens - we think we may have one rooser, bummer, but need to wait a little longer to see for sure. They are a lot of fun - follow you around like a little kid. Dana still cracks up that we have chickens. And last but least the putting green - fenced off so the animals don't get in and eat the new lawn. Dana's pretty excited!

Madison's Birthday!!!

Our beautiful Madison turned 24. We were able to enjoy her birthday with her and Ryan. She has done such a great job in school, work, and just being a wonderful person. We are so proud of her and so blessed....

BIRTHDAY THIS TIME OF YEAR THOUGH WE REALLY NEED ONE AND WE GOT A GREAT DEAL - SO EVERYONE IS HAPPY!

Our Grandson Raine Edward Hoke

Raine was born on April 21st at 11pm, weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz. Mindy and Shaun did great throughout the deliver. Best of all they are great, loving parents. We are so happy for them and for Raine.

Girls Night Out

Madison planned an evening with Mindy and her friends - and of course - baby stuff! It is sure fun to see these girls blossoming into GREAT women!

Future Martha Stewart!

Kaylene is it!. She made fresh baked cookes, put them in a little hand stamped bag for everyone. Ate grilled chicken with fresh veggies - while we all ate pizza. Then when we were ready to leave she handed out "Friendship" bread for us. What a woman!

Mindy's Baby Shower

We are so looking forward to a little Grandson - due the end of April. Mindy had her baby shower in Cypress, Madison planned it and Grandma Lake let us use her home. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a great time. Kim Hoke (Mindy's mother-in-law) made the cute and very yummy Chocolate cake. Mindy and Baby Raine (current name - don't know about the spelling though!) received lots of clothes, toys and blankets. Mindy looks awesome and seems to be hanging in there pretty well.
